PEORIA – Bradley will be renewing an old Missouri Valley Conference rivalry this men’s basketball season.
Tulsa, a Valley member from 1934-96, will host the Braves on Dec. 2 and return to Peoria during the 2021-22 season, BU coach Brian Wardle confirmed Thursday.
Bradley holds a 61-41 edge in the all-time series, which ended its MVC run in the 1996 Valley tournament championship game won by Tulsa, 60-46. Tulsa left the Valley after that season for the Western Athletic Conference, moved on to Conference USA in 2005 and then to its current membership in the American Athletic Conference in 2014.
