PEORIA — The long-awaited return to the basketball court of 7-foot-1 center Ari Boya may come Saturday night for Bradley.
Boya, sidelined since undergoing ankle surgery in August, has been working out with the team this week in drills and scrimmages and is hoped to be available in a limited fashion for the 7 p.m. nonconference contest at Carver Arena against Illinois-Chicago.
“Our game plan as of right now is to get him some minutes,” said BU coach Brian Wardle following Friday’s practice. “But it depends on how he feels after shootaround tomorrow. He’s been feeling really good this week.
