PEORIA — Bradley athletics has a new marketing director.
Karen Carty has been named the school’s assistant athletics director for marketing and fan engagement, replacing Brooke Buzard, who left Bradley in June for a position at the Cunningham Children’s Home in Champaign.
Carty comes to BU from Grambling State, where she served as the assistant athletics director for media, marketing and promotions since April 2017.
Prior to her time at Grambling State, Carty worked three years at South Carolina State as both director of marketing and sports information director for women’s sports. At previous stops, Carty worked in sports information at Baltimore City Community College and Norfolk State.
