PEORIA, Ill. – Junior tennis student-athlete Bozana Lojpur (Burnaby, B.C./Burnaby Mountain Secondary School) has been named this week's Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Thursday in recognition of her performance in the Bradley Tennis program's 2021 season-opening dual match against DePaul.
Facing DePaul's senior No. 2 player Lenka Antonijevic, who earned a straight-sets win at No. 3 Singles Friday at Illinois State, Lojpur earned a 3-sets win (7-6 (6), 4-6, 6-4) Sunday to put the Braves on the board in their season-opener against the Blue Demons. With the win, Lojpur improved her career singles record to 39-19, moving into a tie for 18th on Bradley's career singles wins list.
