PEORIA, IL – Both Christian Dominguez and Luke Shadid collected four hits and flirted with cycles in their last at-bat, leading Bradley (29-14, 9-6 MVC) to a 13-2 win against Valparaiso (10-31, 3-12) in seven innings Sunday afternoon at Dozer Park.
Bradley clinched its third Missouri Valley Conference series win of the season and stayed two games behind the winner of today's Indiana State at Illinois State game in the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season standings. Bradley's 19 hits were its most at Dozer Park against a NCAA Division I opponent since collecting 20 in the first game of a doubleheader against Illinois State April 25, 2005.
