NORMAL, Ill. – Another day, another All-America nod for Illinois State senior offensive tackle Drew Himmelman as he was named a member of The Associated Press FCS All-America Team. Earlier this week, Himmelman earned Stats Perform FCS First-Team All-America honors as well.
This is the second All-America honor for Himmelman from The Associated Press, who also named him a First-Team selection following the 2019 season. The 2021 spring Associated Press FCS All-America team was chosen by a panel of media members who cover FCS, with coordination from College Sports Information Directors of America.
A two-time All-MVFC First-Team selection at offensive tackle, Himmelman was also named the 2020-21 MVFC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
