Whether that translates to the craziest league tournament ever remains to be seen.
The MVC Tournament gets under way at the Enterprise Center (former Scottrade Center) in downtown St. Louis on Thursday with a pair of play-in games, including Illinois State (16-15) taking on Evansville (11-20) at 8:30 p.m.
The top two seeds have dominated the MVC Tournament in its 42-year history, combining for 32 titles.
