ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Junior infielder Allison Apke was a repeat First-Team Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete selection and senior catcher Katie Habryle earned honorable mention Valley Scholar-Athlete honors according to an announcement by the league office Monday afternoon.
Apke is now the seventh two-time First-Team MVC Scholar-Athlete honoree in program history, after garnering first-team honors last year in her first year of eligibility. Habryle took home honorable mention recognition for the first time in her career.
A Second-Team All-MVC pick in 2019, Apke led the Braves with a .349 batting average and her 12 home runs tied for third most in the MVC this spring.
