ST. LOUIS – MVC scoring leader Antonio Reeves has been named the Team Captain of the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Most-Improved Team, an award voted on by the conference's beat writers.
Reeves is the fifth Redbird to be named the Team Captain of the Most Improved Team and is joined by MiKyle McIntosh (2015-16), Levi Dyer (2006-07), Marcus Arnold (2003-04), and Rico Hill (1996-97).
One day earlier Reeves was named to the All-MVC Second Team. Of the four other Redbirds to be named the Most Improved Team Captain, only Rico Hill had earned a place on an All-MVC Team (Hill earned First Team honors that season).
