ST. LOUIS – After being named the MVC Male Track Athlete of the Week for the last two weeks, Illinois State sophomore Jack Anstey has also earned the title of Enterprise Bank MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the Valley announced Wednesday.
This is Anstey's first scholar-athlete weekly honor, and is the first for the Redbirds since Derrius Rodgers received the award on Dec. 13, 2017.
Anstey has had a magnificent start to the 2018 outdoor campaign, competing most recently in the esteemed Stanford Invitational in Stanford, California.
