Andy Shadid Named Bradley Baseball MVP

PEORIA, IL – Junior outfielder Andy Shadid (Peoria, IL/Notre Dame H.S.) earned three Bradley Baseball team awards, including the A.J. Robertson Most Valuable Player, according to the announcement of program's seven annual awards Tuesday.

Shadid was named Bradley's team MVP following a vote of the squad members. The Missouri Valley Conference All-Defensive Team honoree also was voted the team's Kirby Puckett Gold Glove Award winner as Bradley's best defensive player. He also collected the Rod Thompson Award for posting the team's best average, leading the 2018 Braves with a .326 average.

A third-year starter in centerfield, Shadid finished the year with a team-best .
