ST. LOUIS – Behind a top-two finish in the strong field at the Bearcat Invitational, Illinois State sophomore Alex McCulla has been named a MVC Co-Golfer of the Week, announced by the conference office on Friday morning.
McCulla, who has played in all eight rounds this season for ISU with half of those being at or under par, tied for second at the Bearcat Invitational, finishing with a three-round score of 207 (-6). He shot an even-par 71 on his opening round, before following that up with a career-low 67 (-4) in the second round and a 69 (-2) in the tournament's final round.
