NORMAL, Ill. – A total of 15 ISU gymnasts were named Midwest Independent Conference Academic All-Conference Team. These athletes were honored at the MIC Championships banquet, which was hosted by Illinois-Chicago at UIC Pavilion last weekend.
Marema took home First-Team All-MIC honors and won the conference championship on bars with a score of 9.875 and Pas also earned first-team honors, thanks to a second-place finish on beam with a 9.775. LaRoche placed third in the all-around competition with a score of 39.050 to earn First-Team All-MIC honors, the fourth Redbird overall to do so.
