KENNESAW, Ga. — Grace Park carded a 6-over 150 in Monday’s first two rounds of the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate as Illinois women’s golf jumped out to a tie for second place in the 12-team event.
Park was in eighth place with her tally, leading all Illini competitors. Chayanid Prapassarangkul was 13th at 7 over, while Bing Singhsumalee sat 17th at 8 over for Illinois.
The Illini and Augusta each shot 26 over for the day, leaving both 19 strokes behind team leader Texas Tech through 36 holes.
