URBANA — With trustee approval under his belt, new University of Illinois athletic director Josh Whitman has lots to ponder once he officially takes over on Saturday.
What's first on his list? It's up to Whitman, according to interim Chancellor Barbara Wilson.
"I think he's going to do what he needs to do. He'll look at all the issues. He'll make decisions with lots of information in front of him, and he'll do it in the right order. I wouldn't want to second-guess him at this point, but he'll be in regular contact with me," Wilson said Monday.
