ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Katelynn Flaherty scored 27 points and No. 19 Michigan dominated Illinois 86-42 on Saturday night.
After the Illini (9-12, 0-7 Big Ten) scored the first five points of the game, Michigan went on a 21-2 run to take control of the game.
"The frustration got the better of us in different situations," Illinois coach Nancy Fahey said. "I don't have much to say other than it was a tough loss. However, this is done and we have to leave that one in the locker room here."
Michigan (17-4, 6-2) shot 50 percent from the field compared to 27 percent from Illinois.
