URBANA — Bing Singhsumalee's post-college plans will have to wait another week.
That means a decision on a job offer as an electrical engineer at a power distribution facility in downtown Chicago and any thoughts of pursuing a career in golf have been put on hold for the recent University of Illinois graduate.
Singhsumalee's sole focus is on the NCAA championships in Fayetteville, Ark., a stage the Illinois women's golf team will compete on for the first time in program history.
Singhsumalee's Illini and 23 other teams will tee off for the first of three stroke-play rounds today at The Blessings Golf Club.
