After not being able to mention him by name, or put him on the roster, Illinois said Friday AJ Bush is officially part of the team.
Not wanting to violate any rules, athletic department officials waited until the exact start of practice, 3 p.m., to hand out the updated rosters before the team held a two-hour workout at the Campus Rec Fields.
Bush is well-traveled. The Alpharetta, Ga., native started his college career at Nebraska before stops at Iowa Western Community College and Virginia Tech.
