No. 38: Dionte Taylor, WR
Why he’s important: The Florida native enjoyed his best season with the Illini last year. Fully healthy for the first time during his career in Champaign, Taylor snagged 22 receptions for 216 yards in 11 games. He had his share of drops, a substantial problem for any Illinois receiver in 2015, but he should still factor into the rotation in his senior season, especially with Mikey Dudek out with a torn ACL again. Illinois receivers had trouble creating separation from defensive backs, who weren’t shy about playing man coverage a year ago, particularly in Big Ten play.
