Why No. 38: Last time out went very well for the Mountaineers, who edged Arizona State 43-42 in the Cactus Bowl. Quarterback Skyler Howard threw for a bowl-record 532 yards and the winning score in the final minutes. His five touchdown passes set up what Holgorsen hopes will be a big senior year for Howard.
