Offense better, but ...

Illinois ranks 29th in scoring offense (80.8 points per game), a drastic improvement from last season when the Illini finished 260th (61.4). Fahey has credited Illinois' ability to score in transition as a reason for that offensive leap. But, here's the caveat: The Illini have only played one high-major opponent (a 69-67 overtime loss at middle-of-the-road Clemson).
