He won’t get the chance to compete in his second major championship this season, but Michael Davan’s professional golf career remains on the rise. The Hoopeston native and Bismarck-Henning graduate got a taste of the big time last year, competing in the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay, and the goal is to one day get back there and be a regular on the PGA Tour. The 27-year-old is paying his dues in Latin America and on the Web.com Tour to realize his dream. The ex-IUPUI great caught up with our Marcus Jackson for an update on the ups and downs he’s faced:
