CHAMPAIGN — The Illinois football team on Monday announced that its spring practices will be held in the afternoons, not early mornings as previously indicated.
Weekday practices were slated to begin at 6 a.m.
Starting with Tuesday's practice, all weekday practices will begin at 5 p.m., except on Fridays, which will start at 4:30.
The Illini have 13 spring workouts remaining, including the April 16 practice, which begins at 1 p.m. and is open to the public.
