IOWA CITY, Iowa — Devin Quinn added to his Sunday race schedule at the Big Ten track and field outdoor championships in Iowa City, Iowa, by punching his ticket into another event final.
The Illinois senior sprinter won his heat in the 100-meter dash preliminaries on Saturday to clinch a spot in today’s final. Quinn’s clocking of 10.36 seconds was also the second-fastest time in the 100 prelims. Quinn will race in the 100 final at 1:50 p.m. today before switching gears to the 200 final at 2:35 p.m.
Competing in her only event at the Big Ten women’s outdoor meet, Chisom Nwoko notched a place in the 400-meter finals on Saturday afternoon.
