Snow. Sun. Turnovers. And Illinois' defense struggling again. The Illini lost the turnover battle, and gave up more than 500 yards of offense for the third time this season.
WHAT IT MEANS
Last week it was the Illini's pass defense that got carved up by Purdue. Wisconsin flipped the script Saturday with a pair of 100-yard rushers. Fixing any of that is a necessity.
WHAT'S NEXT
Illinois stays on the road again next Saturday with a trip to Maryland. Between now and then, there's a quarterback controversy and those defensive issues to resolve.
