Purdue QB might spell trouble

CHAMPAIGN — The revolving door of Purdue quarterbacks Illinois linebacker Mason Monheim and his defensive teammates have to prepare for continues again this season.

By the time redshirt freshman David Blough takes the first snap for the Boilermakers on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium, it’ll mark the fourth different Purdue quarterback Monheim will have seen.

“Their quarterback’s confidence is building,” Monheim said. “A lot of these teams, I’ve seen their quarterbacks for a couple years, so I kind of know what they like to do. He’s out there making plays.”

Blough is still far from a finished product.
