MADISON, Wis. — Lere Oladipo spent most of the month of August dominating at defensive tackle for Illinois. Then the redshirt freshman lineman went down with an injury.
Oladipo missed the first two games of the season as he worked to get back on the field. He made his Illini debut against South Florida on Sept. 15, played more against Penn State the next week and then didn't play again until Saturday at No. 23 Wisconsin
As a defensive end.
"I was recruited to play d-end, and it felt good to be back there," Oladpio said.
