CHAMPAIGN — Reggie Corbin got two touches in Saturday's regular season home finale against Iowa before the leg injury he suffered the week prior caught up with him.
Corbin's absence changed the entire dynamic of the Illinois offense. The redshirt junior running back has been the Illini's most consistent rusher and their big play threat.
"I know everybody in the country knows just how good Reggie Corbin is and how much he means to this program," Ra'Von Bonner said. The sophomore running back finished the game with 21 carries for 111 yards — the first 100-yard rushing performance of his career.
