CHAMPAIGN — Bill Cubit will return to Champaign later this afternoon.
The Illinois interim coach will conduct his weekly radio show at Buffalo Wild Wings in Savoy at 7 tonight.
But before he steps in front of the microphone, Cubit will have spent the past four days traveling.
First, it was from Champaign to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where the Illini stayed last Friday night before playing at Iowa. Then, a quick flight back to Champaign after the 29-20 loss to the Hawkeyes on Saturday.
Monday featured him recruiting in Chicago and Florida, where he is today before coming back to Champaign.
