Greetings college football fans. Matt Daniels here with you throughout the night and maybe into the early morning hours.
That's what happens when Illinois decides to host Kent State in a game that will kick off at 8:12 p.m. tonight.
Let's hope the sun is down by the time it kicks off.
Temperature on my car heading over to Memorial Stadium registered at 99 degrees. It is a scorcher out there right now.
On the way up to the press box here, saw parking lot workers standing underneath trees in the shade (smart move) and plenty of Marching Illini milling about the east side with waters in their hands.
