Tuesday was another successful recruiting day for the Illinois football program.
The Illini started the day with 12 commitments, the latest being from cornerback, Amar Reynolds. Bret Bielema and the Illinois coaching staff were just coming off a big recruiting weekend, so there was a potential to add more talent in the coming days.
Joe Barna was the first domino to fall on Tuesday. The three-star defensive lineman picked Illinois over teams like Wisconsin and Oklahoma. But Illinois wasn’t finished with just one commitment for the day.
On Tuesday night, Chase Green took to social media to announce that he too was committing to the Illinois football team.
