A player to keep an eye on is Rashad Rochelle. The 6-foot, 170-pound dual-threat quarterback is entering his junior year at Springfield High School in Illinois. The Writing Illini had a chance to chat with Rochelle recently, as he explained some of his aspirations for the upcoming campaign.
“Team – win our league, go undefeated and win state. Personal – get more scholarship offers so I can have more opportunities.”
Some opportunities have already started to roll in for the talented quarterback. Central Michigan, Eastern Illinois, Illinois State and Western Illinois have all came in with a scholarship offer.
