Here is the projected offensive depth chart for the Illini.
Quarterback
Starter: Brandon Peters
I think the starter for the Illini the next two seasons is probably going to be Brandon Peters. There is a reason he picked Illinois. I would assume there are some promises made here of the starting job. This also enables Isaiah Williams to get up to speed in the passing game.
Backup: Isaiah Williams
I have been on the fence with redshirting Isaiah Williams. I have thought it might be good, but then again him coming in as a wildcat type quarterback for the first few years of his career might not be a bad idea.
