This is why the Illini offered offensive guard Joshua Fedd-Jackson, yesterday.
Fedd-Jackson is a 6-foot-3, 300-pound, guard out of North Arlington, New Jersey. He is listed as a 3-star recruit that is the 764th best player in the class of 2017 and the 17th best player in the state of New Jersey.
The recruitment of Fedd-Jackson consists of eight teams offering him a scholarship, including Illinois. Right now, 247sports has Michigan and North Carolina in the lead, but they also have Ohio State and Rutgers as contenders.
Fedd-Jackson would probably have a chance at playing either guard or tackle at Illinois.
