In an interview with Josh Helmholdt of Rivals, class of 2017 recruit Jarell White announced that Illinois is among his top three favorite schools that have offered him a scholarship right now.
According to Rivals, White is a 4-star running back that is the 229th best player in the country and the 9th best player in the state of Ohio.
In that same interview White announced that he would not be playing running back in college, but he decided to play the other position he excels at, defensive back.
White said he made that decision a few days ago that he will be playing on the defensive side of the ball.
