Luke Petitbon took to Twitter to announce that he had received a scholarship offer from Illinois on December 31. This is an interesting offer by the Illini and one that would help the offensive line tremendously.
Petitbon is a 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive guard from Gonzaga High School in Washington, DC. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 439 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 19 offensive guard in the nation. He is also the No. 9 player coming out of Washington, DC as well.
Illinois wasn’t the first team to offer Petitbon.
