The state of Florida can help this Illini program on both sides of the ball. Illinois coaches have plenty of talent down in the Sunshine State, and that is why they keep offering these talented kids. Just a few days ago, one of the offers went out to Marcus Clarke.
Clarke is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound wide receiver from Winter Park High School in Winter Park, Florida. He isn’t rated or ranked by 247Sports, but this class of 2020 athlete has some solid scholarship offers. I would assume he isn’t ranked because he is a late bloomer and 247Sports hasn’t had a chance to see what he can do.
