Illinois Football: Illini MVP of the game against California

Illinois came out strong in the in the first half despite giving up a couple of big plays on defense. The Illini gave a valiant effort on both sides of the ball against Cal late in the 4th quarter. They scored a touchdown and played solid defense after being down 35-13 and not being being able to get anything going on offense or defense in the 3rd quarter.

Though this wasn’t Illinois’ best game on both sides of the ball, Brandon Peters was the MVP for the Orange and Blue.

Peters did a good job throwing the ball even without his main target Josh Imatorbhebhe.
