CJ Hayes announced on Twitter today that he has decided to commit to Purdue University.
Hayes is listed as a 3-star recruit that is the 1,511th best player in the class of 2017 and the 8th best player in the state of Kentucky.
It was reported that Hayes was down to Purdue, Toledo, Cincinnati, Syracuse, and Illinois.
Usually, when Illinois doesn’t snag a player it is upsetting because that player could have helped the team in the future.
