Paul (PC) Daniel II announced on Twitter that he has decided to transfer away from the University of Illinois and is now looking for a new home. He has entered his name into the transfer portal.
Daniel entered the Illinois program after spending a few seasons with IMG Academy down in Florida. He was offered a preferred walk-on spot for the class of 2018. After joining the Illini, Daniel then redshirted this past season to save a year of eligibility. He will now look for a new home with four years left to play.
Illinois had Daniel as a safety on the roster.
