Matt Judd took to Twitter to announce that he has committed to play football for the University of Illinois. This was a nice in-state commitment for the Illini, but Judd is a unique player who has a unique role on the team.
Judd is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound wide receiver from Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Illinois. He isn’t ranked or rated in the class of 2019, but he did have one scholarship offer to North Dakota. Instead of taking that offer, Judd decided to accept the Illini preferred walk-on option that was offered to him.
