I have been slightly disappointed in the Illinois offensive line lately. The game against Michigan was, probably, the worst display of offensive line play I have seen out of the Illini in a long time. To continue to bolster the offensive line, we need to fill in the spots behind the starters. I think Timmons would be a perfect fit for the program.
Timmons is a 6-foot-2, 256-pound offensive guard from Blythewood High School in Brunswick, Georgia. He isn’t rated or ranked by the recruiting sites, but this kid is being eyed by multiple big-time programs for the class of 2021.
