On Thursday afternoon, Trinity Bell announced via his Twitter page that he has received an offer from the University of Illinois. Some people might be thrown off by this offer from the football team because the only profile you find on Bell is as a basketball player. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 181 player in the class of 2021 and the No. 23 center in the nation. That isn’t bad on the basketball side.
The Illinois football offer to Bell fascinates me. I deducted that the football program is the one who offered him the scholarship because in his offer tweet, he tagged Illinois defensive line coach Austin Clark.
