Graduate transfer Oluwole Betiku Jr. announced on Thursday that he will be transferring to the University of Illinois. This is a big get for the Orange and Blue and one that will help the defense tremendously.
Coming out of Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California, Betiku was rated as a five-star recruit who was the No. 15 player in the class of 2016 and the No. 1 weak-side defensive end in the nation. He was also the No. 2 player in the state of California as well.
Betiku decided he would attend USC for his collegiate career.
