Jamar Rucks announced on Twitter that he had received a scholarship offer from the University of Illinois. This is an offer by the Illini that would help the program in the immediate future, which is always a nice thing to see.
Rucks is a 6-foot-2.5, 255-pound strong-side defensive end from Lanier High School in Buford, Georgia. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 1351 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 68 strong-side defensive end in the nation. He is also the No. 128 player in the state of Georgia.
