That is a question I have asked myself a few times. I have come to the conclusion that it isn’t the right time to start worrying.
Listen, I realize we lost out on a big-time recruit this past weekend. Running back Willie Shaw had the Illini in this top three. He was choosing between us, Toledo and Nebraska. But Shaw ended up going with the Rockets. He was a top 700 recruit and someone who could have helped this program.
The loss of Shaw hurt, but it isn’t the end of the world. We have a great freshman running back joining the team in Reggie Love.
