One of the main games to focus on was the St. Louis Eagles vs. the Spiece Indy Heat.
The Eagles have three players that Illinois is recruiting heavily. Jeremiah Tilmon isn’t playing on the AAU circuit because of a shoulder injury, but the other two, Jordan Goodwin and Tim Finke, showed why the Illini are pursuing them for the 2017 and 2018 classes, respectively.
Goodwin once again led the team in scoring with 22 points, but the fact he was 7-of-12 from the field makes me the happiest. This means he is efficient at times in his scoring.
