Illinois basketball has been searching for the missing piece to their class of 2016 puzzle and it looks like it is in the form of point guard Te’Jon Lucas.
Lucas announced today that he has committed to the University of Illinois to play basketball under head coach John Groce and his basketball staff. He chose the Illini over USC and Old Dominion.
All the recruiting sites have Lucas on different levels compared to the rest of his class.
Rivals has him rated as a 3-star recruit but doesn’t have him ranked nationally or among his position.
