This game is usually not massively important but thanks to a slow start to the season, the Illini need this game more than ever.
Illinois is coming off a loss that was extremely heartbreaking but also uplifting at the same time. They could have won that game fairly easy if a few things went different toward the end of the game. But, we are now 1-2 and looking to get another win under our belts.
The Illini haven’t looked bad in their last two games. The emergence of the trio of freshman has been quite refreshing.
