On Saturday night, Wake Forest transfer Chaundee Brown posted his top four on his Twitter page. The top four teams consisted of Gonzaga, LSU, Iowa State and Illinois. This would be a huge get for the Illini and one that would pay massive dividends down the road.
Brown was a big-time recruit coming out of The First Academy in Orlando, Florida. He was rated as a four-star recruit who was the No. 36 player in the class of 2017 and the No. 6 shooting guard in the nation. He was also the No. 5 player in the state of Florida.
